Welcome to my journey of this life!  I hope many will be encouraged and blessed by this blog as I share my struggles and just every day happenings in this life God has given me.

Right now I am reading this book called Kisses from Katie.  It is about a young girl who left her home in America and moved to Uganda to teach kindergarten for a year.  She is given a burden by God for the poor and needy kids around her who don't have the money it takes to go to school and ends up founding Amazima ministry's to get these kids sponsors so they can go to school and learn about the love of Jesus!  To learn more about Katie Davis visit her blog~the Journey.  Although I haven't finished reading the book yet I would highly recommend it!  It will make you laugh and cry and long for the great joy you see in her, that only comes from Jesus!

Here are a few snapshots of what has been happening around here.

  Seedlings in the green house.

Mulching and weeding an herb bed.

My brothers meat chickens in the brooder.

Our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats happily grazing in the pasture.

Thanks to my sister Christina for the pics!

Blessings~ Nancy

  1. Dear sister,
I love your testimony for the Lord Jesus, and your claiming His Name.

Also I love your interest in farming.
I also have an attraction to mission work. Particularily orphans, of late. But we will see what the Lord Jesus decides to do for me, or for you, and for us all.

    Let us trust in Him!

Love your goats. You have lovely animals.

    Blessings!

  2. That's beautiful, Nancy. Love the goat pictures especially.
We raise goats, chickens, and dogs here on our little farm, and are praying about getting into a Grade A dairy. :)

I would like to visit Africa and help those there, and in other places too. I'm very much a home-person though and should like to stay home most of the year! But.... The Lord take me where He wills!

    In Him;
    April
